PTSA Fundraising

Scrip - for an enrollment form click here

Did you know that there’s a simple way that families can help the PTSA continue to raise money for our school?  It’s called the Great Lakes Scrip Center rebate program.  Basically, the Snoqualmie Elementary P.T.S.A. orders gift/debit cards for you at face value from Great Lakes, but gets a 1% - 15% rebate, depending on the company.

For example . . . Macy’s is one of the participating retailers.  They offer a 10% rebate for non-profits who participate in the Scrip program.  If you order a $100 gift/debit card, you pay $100 for it, and our school’s P.T.S.A. gets $10.  You can then either use it as a debit card or give it as a gift card.

It works because Great Lakes buys these cards in massive quantities, and therefore gets a large discount from the retailers.  This discount is substantial enough that Great Lakes profits, AND they pass on a 1%-15% rebate to the participating non-profits.

There are so many retailers that we use for everyday (groceries, gas, dining out) and special gift purchases (holidays, weddings, showers, etc.). It's really worth a look to see if there's a retailer you are planning to shop with anyway.

Here’s how you do it:

1.  Log on to www.shopwithscrip.com and complete the new registration process. You’ll see “Get Started” at the top of the menu bar; from there, read “How It Works.” Then you may “Register.” When you are prompted to fill in our Enrollment Code, please use:   9D75D2F515124

2.  After you are registered, you may peruse the many retailers and place an order if you wish. The screens are very user-friendly and intuitive. When you are finished with your order, the screen will prompt you to print out a copy of the order receipt and write a check to Snoqualmie Elementary P.T.S.A.

3. Send in your order receipt and your check to school.   Our school’s orders are sent out every Monday morning. Checks/order receipts received later will be part of the following week’s order.

4. Your order shopping cards will be available by Thursday of that same week.

5. You will also need to fill out a one-time-only Enrollment Form and send it in with your first order. This must be on file for administrative purposes--it outlines policies and procedures for Scrip orders.

That’s it! Remember, these cards can be used as shopping cards for your own regular purchases, or as gift cards for others. They are only available in the denominations printed on the Retailer List.  If you have any questions about the program, please contact Deborah Doy (thedoys@comcast.net ).
